Atlas Arch Support Max Comfort
Atlas Arch Support offers structural support while providing a comfortable feel. We have created a unique design to present both these elements with the use of:
1: Semi Rigid TPU Shell:
As the main structure of the insole, the semi rigid thermoplastic polyurethane acts as a barrier to prevent the foot from collapsing through gait. It provides a more rigid deep heel cup to allow for proper heel positioning and prevent increase rotation of the heel bone. While the semi rigid arch holds the arch up it still allows for some flex for proper gait shock absorption. Due to the nature of TPU it allows for some bend before returning to its previous shape.
2: Gel heel cushion:
Our gel heel cushion takes the pressure off the lateral heel and allows for greater shock absorption at heel strike. If there’s not enough cushion at heel strike then shock from impact travels up the kinetic chain to the knees, hips and back.
3: PU foam:
The polyurethane (PU) foam allows for structural comfort at the mid layer of the insole. The foam also has the unique property of high rebound when compressed which makes for a comfortable feel while also maintaining shape.
Memory foam products found elsewhere feel comfortable at first, but quickly collapse and thus do not provide any support. However, PU foam is used for our arch support mainly to allow for broader arch fit by molding to the shape of the arch when stepped on. The PU foam layer is what makes Atlas Arch Support different from other insoles. You will find that our products unlike others are not too soft to support or too hard for comfort.
4: Velvet top cover:
The top layer of the orthotic is made from a breathable velvet cloth to allow for moisture control. As opposed to foam material which usually traps moisture, our cloth cover wicks away moisture from the foot creating a more comfortable feel.
Currently we offer two versions of Atlas Arch Support, the regular and high arch version with a 5mm in arch height difference. If you are not sure on which one is best for you, we recommend starting with the regular version as majority will find them to give great arch support. Then after a few months, you can switch to the high arch version for even more comfort and support.
For comfortable experience: Orthotic insoles are meant to provide support to the foot and will need a period to be accustomed. We recommend wearing them a few hours the first day and each day adding an additional hour for about 1 week to get adjusted.
Size: Atlas Arch Support is available in pre-cut sizes so that every person can have a comfortable walking experience again. We provide a multitude of sizes so that everyone can benefit from this wonderful insole.
How to use: We have kept the procedure simple and easy to use:
Step 1: Select your favorite or mostly worn athletic shoes
Step 2: Remove the inserts from the shoes
Step 3: Place the inserts over the Atlas Arch Support
Step 4: Using scissors cut Atlas Arch Support to size
Step 5: Insert the trim-fitted Atlas Arch Support insoles inside your shoes
It is very important that you do not put old inserts back in the shoes as they will prove to be a tight fit afterwards. Atlas Arch Support works best when you use it with your athletic shoes.
